Creekwood Apartments I & II

Architecteam was commissioned to provide design services for the 200-unit, affordable residential development in Watertown, New York. The design consists of one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments scattered throughout the development as one and two-story structures. The development is constructed on a 40-acre site located in the City of Watertown. The wood framed units were designed with full kitchens, living and dining spaces, bathrooms on each level, laundry spaces, and storage closets throughout. Large glass areas will provide generous amounts of natural light and ventilation in all rooms. A centrally located Clubhouse houses administrative offices, a community room, exercise space, and mail delivery.

The beautiful site located on the northern side of the City of Watertown was composed of rolling hills, which challenged the design team in providing accessibility to the single-story units. Architecteam led the challenging site planning effort by creating neighborhoods without disturbance to the existing natural wetlands.
